Who can see my Polymarket trades?

Polymarket trades are visible to anyone. Polymarket records every trade on a public blockchain and shows every account’s positions, sizes, timing and results on a public profile page. A person with the account’s username or wallet address can open that page without logging in, and automated trackers read the same data through Polymarket’s public endpoints within seconds of each trade.

What does a Polymarket profile show?

A Polymarket profile is a public page that lists everything an account has done. First, every open position: the market, the side, the number of shares, the average price paid and the current value. Second, every closed position with the profit or loss in dollars. Third, the time of each trade, the account’s total profit and loss, and its rank on the leaderboard. Taken together, these fields reveal when a trader entered a market, how much conviction the trader had, when the trader left and what the trade earned. According to Polymarket’s documentation, public endpoints return the same data for any wallet address, which is why third-party dashboards show exactly the same numbers as Polymarket itself.

Who actually looks at Polymarket trades?

Polymarket trades are read by four groups. First, trackers and bots: a Polymarket wallet tracker watches an address around the clock and posts each new position to Telegram or X, often within seconds. Second, counterparties: before taking the other side of a large order, traders check who placed the order and how that account has done before. Third, researchers and journalists, who follow large positions on political markets and ask who was behind them. Fourth, people with a personal interest: anyone who knows a trader’s username, or who can connect a wallet address to a person through a transfer, a screenshot or a social post, reads the whole trading history as a story about that person.

How do you trade with positions that are not publicly linked to you?

OffMarket is a web app for trading Polymarket markets with positions that are not publicly linked to the trader’s account. OffMarket uses the same Polymarket markets, the same order book and the same odds, so a share that costs 72 cents on Polymarket costs 72 cents on OffMarket and pays the same one dollar on a win. The only change is the public record: a wallet tracker, a leaderboard or a profile search pointed at an OffMarket account finds no positions to report. Getting started takes three steps.

  1. Sign in to OffMarket with Google or connect a crypto wallet.
  2. Deposit USDC.
  3. Trade the same Polymarket prediction markets at the same odds. Positions are not publicly linked to the account.

Trade on Polymarket, privately.

Same markets, same order book, same odds. Your positions are not publicly linked to your account.
