Can you see past bets on Polymarket?

Past bets on Polymarket are visible to anyone. Every Polymarket position, past and present, is tied to a wallet address, and anyone can look that address up on Polymarket’s profile pages or through Polymarket’s public data endpoints. No login is needed, the history goes back to the account’s first trade, and the record does not expire, because every trade settles on a public blockchain.

What does a Polymarket profile show about past bets?

A Polymarket profile is a complete record of closed positions as well as open ones. For each past bet the profile shows the market, the side taken, the number of shares, the average price paid, the result when the market resolved and the profit or loss in dollars. The activity tab adds the time of every trade, so a reader sees not only what a trader bet on but when the trader entered and when the trader sold. According to Polymarket’s documentation, public endpoints return a wallet’s closed positions and full activity, and third-party analytics sites read the same endpoints to build profile pages, win-rate statistics and leaderboards of their own.

Why do past Polymarket bets matter?

Past bets matter because a history is a pattern. A single position says little about a person. A history of positions shows which topics a trader follows, how large the trader goes, when the trader enters, when the trader folds and how often the trader wins. Read together, past bets tell a stranger what a person cares about and how that person thinks, and they make it far easier to connect a wallet address to a real name. One username that matches a social handle, one shared screenshot, or one transfer from an account in a real name is enough, and from that moment every past bet on the address reads as that person’s. Polymarket offers no way to delete or hide closed positions, so the practical question is where new positions go.

How do you trade without a public history on your account?

OffMarket is a web app for trading Polymarket markets with positions that are not publicly linked to the trader’s account. OffMarket uses the same Polymarket markets, the same order book and the same odds, so a share that costs 72 cents on Polymarket costs 72 cents on OffMarket and pays the same one dollar on a win. The only change is the public record: a wallet tracker, a leaderboard or a profile search pointed at an OffMarket account finds no positions to report. Getting started takes three steps.

  1. Sign in to OffMarket with Google or connect a crypto wallet.
  2. Deposit USDC.
  3. Trade the same Polymarket prediction markets at the same odds. Positions are not publicly linked to the account.

Trade on Polymarket, privately.

Same markets, same order book, same odds. Your positions are not publicly linked to your account.
